(Security - Defence) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has signed the decision to recognize the first 30 military exhibits as national property.

Among them, the Vietnam People’s Army contributes 5 items, including a 37mm anti-aircraft gun from the 1954 Dien Bien Phu Campaign, the Mig-21F96 fighter numbered 5121 of the Vietnam Air Force from the 1972 “Dien Bien Phu on air” Campaign, the book to take notes during the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, the T54B tank numbered 843, and the T59 tank numbered 390 entering the Independence Palace at noon of July 30th, 1975.

The T54B tank numbered 843 of Company 4, Battalion 1, Brigade 203 headed by Commander Bui Quang Than slammed into the left gate of the Independence Palace on April 30th, 1975. It is being exhibited at the Vietnam Military History Museum.

The Mig-21 F96 fighter, numbered 5121, of Regiment 921, Division 371 had shot down 5 US aircraft, including a B-52 bomber which was shot down by pilot Pham Tuan on November 27th, 1972. It is being exhibited at the Vietnam Military History Museum.

The 37mm anti-aircraft artillery gun made by the U.S.S.R of the Battery 3, Company 827, Battalion 394, Regiment 367, of which Hero To Vinh Dien placed his own body under its wheel to serve as a wedge, had shot down 3 French aircraft in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. It is being exhibited at the Vietnam Air Defence and Air Force Museum.
