Senior Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty, member of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the Central Military Commission, Chief-of-the-General-Staff, Deputy Defence Minister paid a working visit to Song Thu conjugate company under the General Department of Defence Industry.

General Ty was briefed on the process of moving the firm to a new location in accordance with Defence Minister’s guideline.

According to Colonel Ha Son Hai, the Firm’s CEO, half of the basic construction work in the first stage has been completed. Moreover, the Firm has been building four new ships in its newly-erected workshops and ensured stable jobs for more than 1,000 workers.

Having checked the Firm, General Do Ba Ty hailed the daring spirit of the firm’s leaders and staff despite several challenges and their responsibilities to fulfill its assigned missions.

The General also asked the firm to continue to actively focus on key projects, ensure the building process, fulfill production and business missions, build more ships for national defence and exports and improve facilities for centers to cope with oil spill incidents, deserving to be a key force of the national rescue system.
