Lieutenant-General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff on July 17th received the visiting delegation of Cambodian Defence Ministry’s International Relations Department, led by Lieutenant-General Phat Vibolsopheak.

Lieutenant-General Vo Van Tuan highly valued results of the meeting between the Department of External Relations of Vietnam People’s Army and the Cambodian Defence Ministry’s International Relations Department, considering them a contribution to tightening traditional, friendly and comprehensive ties of the two armies and peoples.

General Tuan also suggested the two Departments should promote cooperation and share experiences with each other to effectively carry out agreements signed by two nations’ Defence Ministries.

For his part, Lieutenant-General Vibolsopheak, Director of the Department, thanked General Tuan for his warm reception as hoped that the Defence Ministry and the General Staff of Vietnam People’s Army continue to back the two Departments’ cooperation activities in the coming time.
