The Kim Thanh International Border Gate between Lao Cai and Yunnan (China) will officially make its debut on August 8th, as agreed upon at a working session by leaders of the two nations’ provinces.

Previously, on July 6th, PM Nguyen Tan Dung issued Document No. 685 on opening the Kim Thanh Gate under the Lao Cai International Border Gate.

The newly-built gate will facilitate people travel and cargo to be transported between two nations and third countries.
